Valimate legal
Terms of Service
Last updated: 3 September 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Valimate, an AI-assisted idea-validation platform operated by [Valimate Ltd.] (“Valimate”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the service you agree to these Terms.
1. Acceptance and eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use Valimate. If you use Valimate on behalf of a company or team, you confirm you are authorised to bind that organisation, and “you” refers to that organisation.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the app or by email, and continued use after the change takes effect constitutes acceptance.
2. Accounts
You sign in with an email address and password or via Google. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify us at privacy@valimate.ai if you suspect unauthorised access.
You may delete your account at any time from Settings. Deletion removes your workspaces, experiments and stored content as described in our Privacy Policy.
3. The service
Valimate provides AI-assisted validation workspaces: conversational advisors and specialist agents, evidence capture, a validation score and report, and the ability to publish landing pages, surveys and waitlist forms and collect responses.
We may add, change or discontinue features. Where a change materially reduces the functionality of a paid plan, we will give reasonable advance notice.
4. Plans, credits and billing
Valimate offers a free tier and one or more paid plans. The current plans, prices, credit allowances and limits are listed on our pricing page, which forms part of these Terms. Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly in advance. AI actions on the platform — advisor turns, specialist runs, page generation and report exports — spend credits.
Monthly credit allowances are granted at the start of each billing period and expire when the period ends; they do not roll over unless we state otherwise for your plan. Separately purchased top-up credits remain valid until used, subject to the expiry shown at purchase.
Unused credits are not refundable and have no cash value. Public pages you publish are subject to monthly response and view limits based on your plan; traffic beyond those limits may be paused until the next period or an upgrade.
5. Your content
You retain all rights to the content you create or upload — workspace conversations, files, sources, branding assets and the pages you publish (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, process and display Your Content solely to operate and improve the service for you.
You represent that you have the rights to any content you upload and that it does not infringe third-party rights or break the law.
6. AI-generated output
Valimate uses large language models to generate advice, analysis, scores and page content. AI output can be wrong, incomplete or reflect biases in training data.
Nothing produced by Valimate is professional, legal, financial or investment advice. Validation scores and reports are decision-support signals only. You are solely responsible for decisions you make based on the output, and you should verify important claims independently.
7. Public pages and end-user data
When you publish a landing page, survey or waitlist, you are the data controller of the responses and personal data you collect, and Valimate acts as your processor. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to collect that data, for your own privacy notices to respondents, and for honouring their rights.
We may apply rate limits, content moderation and takedowns to public pages that breach these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy.
8. Acceptable use
Your use of Valimate is also governed by our Acceptable Use Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Breaching it may lead to suspension or termination.
9. Suspension and termination
You can stop using Valimate and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, fail to pay amounts due, or create risk or legal exposure for us or other users. Where practicable we will warn you first.
On termination, your right to use the service ends immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive (ownership, disclaimers, liability) survive.
10. Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, [Valimate Ltd.] is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
11. Governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction], without regard to conflict of law rules, and the courts of [jurisdiction] have exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer law gives you other rights. Questions about these Terms: privacy@valimate.ai.
